Trail Description
A walk to Taq Kasra, the towering brick arch of Ctesiphon that is the largest single span vault of unreinforced brick in the world. It is the last standing relic of the Sasanian imperial palace on the Tigris south of Baghdad. A staggering feat of ancient Persian engineering.
