Trail Description
A walk around the ancient citadel of Erbil, one of the longest continuously inhabited settlements on earth, rising on its great mound above the modern city. The route climbs through the restored gate and winds past the old mansions, hammam and textile museum on the ramparts. Below spreads the bustling Qaysari bazaar and the fountains of the central square.
