Trail Description
A walk through the old city of Mosul on the west bank of the Tigris, once a jewel of stone houses, churches and mosques. The route passes the rebuilt Al Nuri mosque with its leaning Hadba minaret and the alleys slowly rising from the rubble of war. A city of layered history finding its feet again.
