Trail Description

A walk up to Shanidar cave in the Bradost mountains, where Neanderthal burials were unearthed and gave the world the idea of a flower burial. The path climbs the hillside to the wide cave mouth overlooking the Great Zab valley. A site of deep human history in the Kurdish foothills.
