Trail Description

A climb through Tawela, a stepped Hawrami village clinging to the mountainside on the Iranian border east of Halabja. Stone houses stack one above another so that a neighbour's roof is your own front yard. Terraced orchards and springs make this one of the most striking villages in Kurdistan.
