Trail Description

A gentle walk over the dunes and boardwalk to the golden strand of Barleycove near Mizen Head in west Cork. The sheltered beach sits among rolling sand hills and a tidal lagoon rich in birdlife. Easy and family friendly, one of the finest beaches in the southwest.
