Trail Description

A forest walk among the Juniko lakes on the edge of the Shirakami mountains in Aomori, famous for the astonishing cobalt-blue Aoike pond. The path winds through beech woodland linking a string of still, clear pools. It is flat, easy and part of a World Heritage forest.
