Trail Description
A walk through the Higashiyama district of Kyoto up the old slopes of Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka to the great wooden stage of Kiyomizu-dera. The stepped lanes pass tea houses, potteries and glimpses of pagodas. It is one of the most beautiful town walks in Japan.
