Trail Description

A walk around Matsumoto castle in Nagano, one of the oldest original keeps in Japan, its black walls mirrored in the surrounding moat. The route circles the water and grounds and links to the willow-lined Nawate street nearby, with the alps beyond. It is flat and handsome.
