Trail Description

A walk through the forest of Meiji Jingu in the heart of Tokyo, a vast wood of a hundred thousand donated trees planted a century ago around the shrine to Emperor Meiji. The wide gravel path passes towering torii and rows of sake barrels beneath the canopy. It is a green and peaceful escape from the city.
