Trail Description

A forest approach walk to the ancient Mitsumine shrine high in the Chichibu mountains, reached through an avenue of towering cedars. The path passes a great vermilion gate and mossy stone lanterns often wreathed in mountain mist. It is atmospheric and steeped in mountain worship.
