Trail Description

The most popular climb on the sacred island of Miyajima, rising through the Momijidani maple valley to the 535 metre summit of Mount Misen. The forested route passes stone lanterns and small halls before reaching viewpoints over the Seto Inland Sea. Wild deer and monkeys are often seen along the way.
