Trail Description

A much loved twin peaked mountain on the Kanto plain, long celebrated in Japanese poetry. Trails climb from the Tsukuba shrine through forest strewn with curious boulders to the two summits, Nantai and Nyotai. A cable car and ropeway offer easy alternatives, and the views reach back toward Tokyo.
