Trail Description
A flat walk along the Notsuke sandspit, the longest in Japan, curving into the sea in eastern Hokkaido. The path crosses grassland and tidal flats rich in wildflowers and birds, with ghostly stands of bleached dead trees. Deer graze along the shore with the Kunashiri island beyond.
