Trail Description

A walk along the Hachiman-bori canal in Omihachiman, Shiga, a former merchant town near Lake Biwa. The path follows the willow-lined waterway past white storehouses where boats once carried goods to the lake. It is flat, quiet and lovely in cherry-blossom season.
