Trail Description

A loop through the Ligatne nature trails in Gauja National Park, where forest paths pass enclosures of native Latvian wildlife such as bison, deer, lynx and brown bear. Sandstone cliffs and the Gauja river frame the walk. Boardwalks and viewing towers make it a popular family outing.
