Trail Description

A walk to the Sima de las Cotorras, a vast circular sinkhole in the dry forest of central Chiapas. The trail crosses scrubland to the rim of the great shaft where thousands of green parakeets wheel at dawn. Rock paintings mark the sheer inner walls.
