Trail Description

A walk on the hills above Kharkhorin to the stone turtle and rock monuments that guarded the ancient Mongol capital of Karakorum. The route crosses grassy slopes with views over Erdene Zuu monastery and the Orkhon plain. An easy walk steeped in imperial history.
