Trail Description

A climb into the granite hills of Khugnu Khan Uul, a small mountain range on the edge of the Elsen Tasarkhai sands. The trail passes the ruins of Ovgon monastery and rises through rocky gullies to viewpoints over the steppe. A scenic half day walk between forest and desert.
