Trail Description

The final leg of the classic pilgrimage, following the rocky crest of the Khumbu glacier moraine from Gorak Shep to the boulder marking Everest Base Camp. In spring the ice is dotted with the yellow tents of expeditions beneath the tumbling Khumbu icefall.
