Trail Description

A walk through Nationaal Park Lauwersmeer, a young reserve created when the sea arm was dammed in 1969. Reed, grassland and lakes now host Konik horses, sea eagles and huge flocks of geese. A dark sky reserve of wide horizons on the Groningen-Friesland border.
