Trail Description

A loop through the dramatic gold mining sluicings at Bannockburn near Cromwell in Central Otago. The tracks wind among cliffs, tunnels and tailings left by the hydraulic miners. Dry thyme covered hills and old dams tell the story of the gold rush.
