Trail Description

A short sharp climb from Soraypampa to a glacial lake of vivid turquoise beneath the Humantay glacier. The trail rises steeply through thin air to the shore, where prayer stones are stacked against the mountain backdrop. A popular day trip and the start of the Salkantay trek.
