Trail Description

A climb to the Cerro de Sao Miguel, the highest point of the Algarve barrocal above Santa Barbara de Nexe. The path rises through carob and almond groves to a chapel and radar dome with sweeping views over the coast and the Ria Formosa. On clear days the whole eastern Algarve lies spread out below.
