Trail Description
A loop around the vast star shaped bastions of Elvas, a UNESCO garrison town on the Spanish border. The route follows grassy ramparts and moats with views to the great Amoreira aqueduct and the plains of the Alentejo. Flat and historic, the largest bulwarked fortress in the world.
