Trail Description
A walk around the white hilltop village of Monsaraz and its medieval castle high above the Alqueva lake in the Alentejo. Cobbled lanes and the walls of the fortress look out over a vast plain and the largest artificial lake in Europe. Famous for its megalithic stones and dark skies.
