Trail Description

A flat coastal walk along the eastern Algarve from the resort of Monte Gordo to the border town of Vila Real de Santo Antonio on the Guadiana river. Boardwalks cross the dunes behind a vast golden beach shaded by umbrella pines. The grid-planned town looks across the wide river to Spain.
