Trail Description

A mountain walk in the Serra de Sao Mamede from the city of Portalegre up to the eagle nest village of Marvao. The path climbs through chestnut and cork oak woods, springs and granite ridges. Historic and scenic, ending below Marvao's dramatic clifftop castle.
