Trail Description

A loop through the ancient walled royal hunting park of Mafra, a vast enclosure of oak and pine north of Lisbon. Deer, wild boar and birds of prey roam the woodland once reserved for the kings of Portugal. Trails climb to viewpoints over the great baroque palace and convent.
