Trail Description

A Via Algarviana stage through the wooded Serra do Caldeirao from Barranco do Velho down to Salir. The path crosses cork oak and strawberry tree woods on schist ridges high above the coast. Cool and green, one of the wildest inland stretches of the Algarve.
