Trail Description

A walk above Nova Gorica to the Kapela hill and its Franciscan monastery of Kostanjevica, resting place of the last French Bourbon kings. The path climbs through pine woods to the church, library and rose garden with views over the twin border towns. A rewarding outing joining faith, history and panorama.
