Trail Description
A quiet walk to Sticna Abbey, the oldest monastery in Slovenia and a still active Cistercian community founded in the twelfth century. The path leads through fields and orchards to the walled complex with its church, cloisters and herbal garden. A restful outing rich in history and countryside.
