Trail Description

A walk up through the old Fort Frederick to the colourful Koneswaram temple on Swami Rock in Trincomalee. The shaded road climbs past grazing deer to a clifftop shrine high above the sea at Lovers Leap. Sweeping views over the harbour and the Indian Ocean reward the climb.
