Trail Description

The remote Lemosho Route begins with a quiet walk through pristine rainforest on the western side of Kilimanjaro. The path to Big Tree Camp, known as Mti Mkubwa, is rich in wildlife including colobus monkeys. It is one of the least crowded starting stages on the mountain.
