Trail Description

A high acclimatisation walk across alpine desert from Shira 2 Camp toward the striking Lava Tower on Kilimanjaro. The barren landscape is dotted with giant groundsel and offers vast views of Kibo. It is a classic climb high sleep low acclimatisation leg.
