Trail Description

A walk among the atmospheric ruins of Kilwa Kisiwani, a UNESCO World Heritage site on a coastal island. The remains of the Great Mosque and Husuni Kubwa palace recall a wealthy medieval Swahili trading city. Baobabs and sea breezes surround the ancient coral stone walls.
