Trail Description
Alfred Wainwright's favourite fell, Haystacks is a rugged little summit dotted with tarns above Buttermere. The walk from Gatesgarth climbs past Scarth Gap to the rocky top and Innominate Tarn where Wainwright's ashes were scattered. Big views for a modest height.
