Trail Description

A strenuous but spectacular hike in Oregon's Wallowa Mountains to a stunning alpine lake. The trail climbs switchbacks past waterfalls into a high glacial basin. Ice Lake set beneath the Matterhorn and Sacajawea Peak is one of the most beautiful spots in the state.
