Beglik Tash Sanctuary

A forest walk north of Primorsko to the Thracian megalithic sanctuary of Beglik Tash, a ring of giant volcanic boulders used for sun worship three millennia ago. The Sharpened Stone and the Womb passage still align with the solstice. The sea glitters through the oaks at the sanctuary edge.
