Taishan East Imperial Road

The Dongyudao, the eastern imperial road that Tang and Song emperors used to reach the summit of Mount Tai for the fengshan sacrifices. It climbs quietly through woodland from the east before joining the main stone stairway at the Middle Heaven Gate and continuing to the Jade Emperor Peak. Much less crowded than the Red Gate route.
