Edfu Temple Walk

Edfu is home to the temple of Horus, the best preserved major temple in Egypt, its towering pylons still nearly intact. This short walk leads through the town to the great falcon-guarded gateway. Inside, the walls carry some of the most complete religious texts to survive from the ancient world.
