Schrammsteine Ridge

A steep scramble up to a jagged sandstone ridge in Saxon Switzerland, on ladders, steps and iron rungs cut into the rock. The Schrammsteinaussicht viewpoint looks out over a sea of pinnacles and forest to the Elbe below. Exposed in places and thrilling, one of the finest short routes in the area.
