Kirishima Jingu Forest Walk

A walk through the cedar forest around Kirishima Jingu in Kagoshima, a vermilion shrine on the flank of the volcanic Kirishima range. The path passes towering ancient cedars and a sacred thousand-year-old tree. It is atmospheric, green and often veiled in mountain mist.
