Mount Ishizuchi

The highest peak in western Japan and a sacred mountain on Shikoku, reached from the top of a ropeway. The upper section is famous for its heavy iron chains bolted to near vertical rock, with a bypass path for those who prefer to walk. The summit ridge gives sweeping views across the mountains of Shikoku.
