Tojinbo Cliffs

A coastal walk along the Tojinbo cliffs in Fukui, a rare stretch of columnar basalt rising sheer from the Sea of Japan. The path follows the clifftop past dramatic rock pillars and gorges above the surf. It is one of the most striking coasts in the country.
