A walk out to the Ponta de Sagres, the windswept headland at the far southwest tip of Europe. A vast sixteenth century fortress wall encloses the promontory associated with Henry the Navigator and his school of discoveries. Sheer cliffs drop to the churning Atlantic on three sides.
