Race Fishponds Nature Walk

A flat loop around the Race fishponds south of Maribor, a nature reserve of old carp ponds famous for its herons and waterfowl. The path circles the reedy water through willows and wet meadows with hides along the way. An easy, birdrich outing on the Drava plain.
