Beidawushan

The southernmost of Taiwan's great peaks and a sacred mountain to the Paiwan and Rukai people, rising above the plains of Pingtung. The long forest trail passes ancient hemlocks and a mountain hut before a steep climb to the misty summit. A demanding classic revered for its old-growth cloud forest.
