Kilimanjaro Lemosho Route Stage 3 Shira 1 to Shira 2 Camp

A gentle stage crossing the broad Shira Plateau, one of the highest plateaus of its kind in the world. The nearly level walk gives excellent acclimatisation and constant views of Kibo ahead. Shira 2 Camp is a common junction where the Lemosho and Machame routes converge.
