Olesko Castle Hill

A short walk to the oval hilltop castle of Olesko, birthplace of King Jan Sobieski, rising above the plain east of Lviv. Paths climb the low mound through parkland to the restored stone keep and its terraced gardens. A pleasant historic outing on the Golden Horseshoe of castles.
